Heaps of Reflections from Ann's 2011 travels
Hello,
Life at Lyndon continues to be very interesting with the warm/hot weather remaining even though we woke this morning (late!!) to a cloudy sky and a cool southerly. During the day, the clouds disappeared, the wind swung around and it became quite hot by late afternoon.
I spent about an hour in the cattle yards, herding cattle down the shute where they were put in the crush and those who needed to be de-horned were 'done' and all were tagged with their sale tags before they go for a ride! The schoolroom has settled somewhat but we still have our moments! There are signs though of increasing self-confidence from both the girls and they happily asked to come down to Matilda for afternoon tea today, " cos it's a rest day Ann, and you said when it's a rest day, we can come down!" Definitely 'sometimes' food on the menu!
I will stay here for another two weeks when the school hols begin and then I'll head for the CMCA Rally in Kalgoorlie. I'll have about a week to travel the 1400 kms so should do it easily. As per usual, I hope that all your lives are staying on an even keel and that you and your family are enjoying the warmer weather that spring brings. Looking forward to hearing all your news, Cheers, Anne
